Physico-chemical analysis of groundwater during monsoon and winter season of Dindori district, India

The physico-chemical parameters of the groundwater 28 villages belonging to 7 community development blocks Dindori district, India were assessed during monsoon (July-15th September 2017) and winter (December 2017–January 2018) season. Standard methods A.P.H.A. followed for analysis interpretation results. mean values pH, iron sulphate exceeded desirable limit prescribed by Bureau Indian Standard. Groundwater sample village Chanda is not suitable drinking domestic purpose as it contains higher TDS, nitrate compared permissible B.I.S. ANOVA indicates a significant difference between period temperature total dissolved solids at α = 0.05. rest both periods did differ significantly. Duncan's multiple range test that harmonic temperature, sulphate, TDS BOD all seven homogenous 0.05 showed 2 3 subsets different blocks. coefficient correlation revealed strong positive calcium hardness iron. high negative was observed iron, nitrate. Some moderately some poorly correlated with each other.
